“A coked out blur between Studio 54 and some orgy on Fire Island” is what Patrick Mullins describes his art as. Inspired by Peter Berlin, Tom of Finland, Richie Gallo, Jacques Des Bascher, Erte and Antonio Lopez. Drawing since 6 years old Patrick has built a world very much his own that conjures excess skin, excess glamour and excess power all by hand. Self taught, he blurs what can be created between realism and stylistic to create figures of androgyny and strength. He draws what he hopes he himself and the world could be more like: cheekier, queerer, louder, hornier.
