Born in Iran in 1988, Kian left his country in 2016 and began his life on his own from the age of 16. Kian obtained his Bachelor of Architecture degree with honors in 2010 and went on to obtain a Masters in Architecture at the Eastern Mediterranean University in 2012. He also studied Fashion Design at Marangoni in Paris in 2008. Kian has worked in the fields of fashion and architecture consistently for the past ten years. He has been drawing for more than twenty years using different techniques and mediums. His art reflects his interest in the human body, sensuality, and breaking gender barriers. Kian always adds a bit of his culture, background, and experience of being an immigrant into his paintings. Years of studying Persian miniature drawing techniques enable him to incorporate his roots, culture, and life story into his paintings.
