Aubrey Longley-Cook is a Los Angeles based artist who creates hand-stitched embroideries and stop-motion animations. He combines traditional craft-making techniques with new media to explore queer iconography and document digital culture.He has notably shown work at the LODGE (Los Angeles), the Leslie-Lohman Museum (New York), the Museum of Quilts and Textiles (San José), and the Textile Center (Minneapolis).
