Bellamy Moon

Bellamy Moon builds art from emotion, often starting with pencil, then watercolor, sometimes enhancing with marker or acrylic paint. She uses vibrant colors to create physical expressions of her internal experience on paper and canvas. Her art is the excavation of fear, rage, self love, and joy, long compressed by the thumb of a misogynistic, biphobic culture. Every piece contains the unconditional love she is growing, for a child shut down, a fetishized young woman, and a mother who is learning how to play again.
