Woolybearz is an artist and graphic designer based in Upstate NY. Their work focuses on portraying queer intimacy from a delicate and emotional perspective rather than sexually charged fantasy. Using precarious compositions of figures stacked upon each other or confined into an awkward position, they like to create an immediate impression of humor in their drawings while having a somber undertone. Recently, they've been inspired by nostalgia: hazy memories and the subtle impression of a feeling.
