Javier is a self taught illustrator born in Monterrey, Mexico. He constantly likes to experiment with different styles, while exploring the male subject in his work. Introspection, intimacy and sensuality are some of his favourite themes among several others. In most of his work, you’ll find, round, husky and hairy guys that wouldn’t normally be considered to be within mainstream beauty standards. He believes in finding beauty in all people, which translates in his fondness for portraiture. He currently resides in Mexico City.
