Marçeleaux is largely self-taught, but free Saturday art classes at Cooper Union when he was in high school gave him a great foundation. He is based in Chicago and grew up in Brooklyn, New York in an Ecuadorian immigrant family. He co-hosts a drawing group with a friend called Chicago Gay Drink & Draw that has provided a great community, even through the pandemic. He has been working as an artist since 2011​​​​​​​.
