Marc DeBauch was born in 1956. He attended St. Cloud State University excelling at jewelry design, printmaking. In 1980 he joined the sex cult of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, changed his name to Satyarthi, wore only red clothing, sold all of his worldly possessions, (except his paint brushes), and moved to India. He returned to the USA with a new sense of purpose and began creating Baroque landscapes, mythological subjects and erotic art. In 1995 Marc won first place in the Tom of Finland Foundation’s Emerging Erotic Artists Contest. Marc currently lives in Minneapolis with Eduardo, his husband of 30 years.
